Cop a load of that copy!

Marenthe - The Netherlands

I currently work closely with Dutch designer and illustrator Marenthe Otten. Her images are quirky and a lot of fun, so I take inspiration from these to create text that reflects her vivaciousness.

“I have great enthusiasm for Liz’s work. She has a way of understanding exactly what it is I want to say. Liz not only translates but also transforms the text, adding something to it, which, in turn, influences me. Her strength is that she can play with language and words and is able to find solutions. Liz gives language an extra dimension, which is often humorous. I find it truly inspiring!” Marenthe Otten

I write Marenthe’s website, her monthly newsletter and assist her with Tweets and Facebook notifications as well as English words to appear on her work.

Music 4 Children - London

A Comedy Night with a serious cause - I wrote the copy for the flyer and programme and managed the design and print process for this project.

TinCat Design - Bristol

The Comedy Charity Night publicity was a collaboration between Ruth Wellman of TinCat Design and Writing Riot. We often work together. If you are interested in Ruth’s design work, or would like to discuss commissioning us to collaborate on something for you, please contact us.

Movementor - Bristol

I write all copy for Movementor. You’ll see why when you visit the site! www.movementor.co.uk

Liz Mitchell - Bristol

Another outlet for my writing... www.lizmitchell.co.uk.

The Hub - Bristol

A melting pot of ideas and people doing great things, The Hub used to have a shared office space in Bristol. When it did, I wrote their monthly newsletter and kept its members amused and intrigued with what what was hip and happening.

“Liz headed up the publicity for a Music4children comedy fundraiser at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill in March 2012. She wrote the copy, coordinated the design and compiled the programme. Her input was invaluable - the event would have in no way looked as professional and been such a success without Liz.” Oz Bayldon
